Brush Dental Studio at 37625 Ann Arbor rd, Suite 108, Livonia, Michigan.

I had a great experience with this dental studio and I even referred a few of my cousins to go here...until they screwed me over.

So the day I called to setup an appointment, a staff member named Heather (she's in charge I think) said that she will get back to me BEFORE my appointment with information regarding my insurance policy (she was going to call the insurance and call me back) since she was unsure if the wisdom teeth extractions will be covered or not. When I went to the studio to get my teeth extractions, they did not mention anything about my insurance policy UNTIL I was in the chair and numbed up, therefore I was under the impression that I had to go along with the procedure. A few minutes before the procedure, Heather comes with the paperwork and says that my insurance will not cover any surgical procedure until August. At this point, it seemed like I could not walk away and I went ahead with the procedure. Turns out I ended up paying $730 for these extractions when I could have paid just $300 if they had informed me earlier about my insurance policy like how they said they were going to. After the procedure I told my brother to call them and explain what has happened and to see if they could do some price reduction because clearly this wasn't my fault since I was unaware of this. They told my brother that they will only speak to me regarding this but at the time I couldn't talk because of the extractions.

I really don't know who to blame for this. The overall process of how this played out was very shady, unethical and unprofessional. Because I don't support a business that finds ways to cheat its clients, I have decided to switch to another dentistry.
